Hot springs and bloody marys

One of Dave's best friends, Mark, has recently graduated with his PhD and accepted a great position at a company in Tennessee. Mark is leaving in just a couple of weeks and wanted to do one last activity with us and mutual friends Mike & Charma before he left. Mark chose for all of us to spend the day at Mount Princeton Hot Springs on Saturday. So, in honor of Mark I bought a new swimsuit, we packed our bags and headed to the hot springs.

Dave's parents were nice enough to watch Gromit for us as the five of us make the trek to Mount Princeton for the day. We had a good time wading in the river and playing in the pool and I really enjoyed dreaming of the day when Dave and I can afford a private pool in the backyard of the home we don't yet own. The best part of the day were the views from the water.

After a full day at the hot springs Dave and I stayed the night at his parents' house. This gave us the opportunity to share a yummy brunch with friends Trisha and Chris on Sunday morning. Of course, brunch with Trisha wouldn't be complete without Bloody Marys. Ahhhhh, what a great way to spend a weekend; friends, fun and fabulous food and drink. Can't beat that!
