This has been a big week of firsts for Mr. Carter! He had his first tastes of solid foods (rice cereal and pumpkin puree), rode in a shopping cart for the first time, and tonight we took our first family trip to the park!
Carter wasn’t too amused with the slides…

Mostly he was just content sitting in my lap. You would think he could have at least cracked a smile on the way down the slide.
I’m sure that eventually he’ll be more excited about trips to the park. We’re just glad he didn’t cry :-)
